James' Places are an eclectic group of hotels, inns and venues located across the Ribble Valley, Yorkshire Dales and South Lakes. Their venues are renowned for their passion for fabulous food, great service and a warm friendly ambience that is apparent as soon as you walk through the door. From weddings, celebrations, dining and short breaks, whatever the occasion let them make their place your place!
It all began in 1996 with the purchase and refurbishment of the former Methodist Chapel on Moor Lane, Clitheroe. The tired and neglected building was given the kiss of life and The Emporium was born.
That, in a nutshell, is what they have been doing ever since. Over 25 years on and James’ Places is now a unique group of hospitality and leisure businesses in the Ribble Valley, Yorkshire Dales and South Lakes.
